
Edmond Hyde is a music professional, a graduate from the University of Ghana with Theater Management, Dance and Music has his area of special learning and is now the founder of Dzeŋ Nako. Hyde began his music profession from the National Theater with a group called Indigen Africa before enrolling at the University of Ghana.
He later joined Ayekoo Drummers of Ghana where he toured with the group to perform at various international events. He has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival at Davies Hall twice (Montreux, Switzerland), Verona Jazz Festival (Verona, Italy), Rivertone Donau Festival (Straubing, Germany), Osangol Music Festival (Accra, Ghana), Afro-Pfingsten Festival (Zurich, Switzerland), Heritage of Africa Festival (Accra, Ghana), Sedartis Forum ft. Alina Amuri (Thalwil, Switzerland), Glarus Nord Festival (Glarus, Switzerland) and many others.
He can play fomtomfrom, gembe, gome, kpanlogo drum and xylophone. He can dance, teaches dance and has experience in directing.
Hyde has also worked with Millicom Ghana Ltd, Street Children Empowerment Foundation and has served as a volunteer for the Young Men Christian Association (YMCA).
His dream is to make African cultural music address socio-pyscho issues of people in society and has the playing of tennis, football, swimming and drumming as his hobbies.

Cedric Dzelu is a Global Climate Change Ambassador of the World YMCA Cum Executive Director of Hope Performance Tennis, a not for profit working to empower young people through tennis.
With over 11+ years of experience, his expertise meets perfectly at the intersection of Climate Change Advocacy, communication, community development, marketing, finance, writing, community service and volunteering. This coupled with other work experiences have afforded him the opportunity to learn, lead, manage resources and plan finances such that project objectives are met.
Cedric holds an MSc in Development Finance from the University of Ghana and a BSc in Marketing from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, (GIMPA).
Cedric’s star shines on activities that seeks to inspire positivity among young people to be drivers of change in their community. Cedric is an all-too-rare figure in today’s world where the quest for young people to be at the driver’s seat continues to be an increasing echo to many.
Cedric has carved for himself an imperishable niche as a grass root mobiliser and implementer who is able to cascade outcome of high level conference to have meaning impacts on ordinary people in their communities.

After 5 years as Director of the Ghana Dance Ensemble (National Theatre), Nii-Tete returns to NOYAM as its Director. He is a dance educator, choreographer, and performer who envisions’ his work in this field as a recontextualization of traditions, with a particular focus on dance theatre and contemporary Africa dance. Nii-Tete has choreographed and directed at both National and international levels on productions including AZA, Jananam, Solma and Flying Solo.
Nii-Tete holds a Diploma, BFA and M.F.A. degrees in Dance and Theatre Arts.

A faculty member of the department of Theatre Arts University of Ghana, Legon. I hold MFA in Theatre Arts, degree in Theatre Management and Diploma in General Music I am into sound design. I develop and design sound concepts for films, radio drama, and documentary. I am into music production for advertisement, radio and television signature tunes and montages respectively.
I am into electronic music programing and I love creating African musical rhythms, with a contemporary touch. I do tutorials on basic rudiments for African music from melody, harmony, style of responses, bell patterns, supporting drums, and how to create new music out of the basic rudiments.

Daniel Martey Mahama, a Front performer, master drummer and drum instructor of the Dzen Nako cultural troupe. At the age of 8yrs he has being living the life of an artiste with expertise in the African traditional drumming and dance and later became his profession from 2008.
A musician, tutor and performer who has performed and held lots of workshops both in Ghana and several overseas institutions. Just to mention a few, he has performed at the African cup of Nation's opening and closing ceremony(AFCON) 2008, National Theater of Ghana, Accra International Conference center, University of Elon(USA) 2018, Oru Owerri festival Nigeria, little Explorers, Saps school, Ghana International school.
His interest lies in teaching and sharing in the African traditional dance and drumming which has led to his role as a Master drummer and have provided rhythms for lots of traditional dances, technique performances.

Allotey Mingle, A master drummer, front performer, and drum instructor with the Dzen Nako cultural troupe has been in the performance circle for about 10 years. He has performed on both local and international cultural activities with the Ayekoo Drummers in Switzerland 2015, Dromo Dance Ensemble and the African Telema Dance Ensemble here at the Arts center. Allotey has expertise in drumming music and lessons , dance, Acrobatics display, drum construction and repairs, fontomfrom drum music and dance. He is a rep for the Ga Mashie chief and royal musicians here in Accra.

Kuubetersuri charity, a dancer and supervisor of the Dzen Nako cultural troupe began dancing at the age of 12. She had her first stage performance at the Kanda Library then she joined the Africana cultural troupe for about 5years and later joined the Ghana Dance Ensemble, University Legon as a dancer (2012).Currently with Dzen Nako but has performed on several cultural events both locally and internationally with the Ghanaian female hip life artiste (Mzbel), Dance Africa both in Turkey and Dubai, Bzoom crew in Tamale and Morroco. Charity has passion for dance and has great interests in African traditional dances and Ghanaian popular Dances.

He begun his drumming career since 1995 with the Opanka tradional Ensemble as his first group and then moved to Telema Traditional African dance Ensemble located at the Arts center as a drummer, 2006. He is also the leader and master drummer for the Ga Mantse palace musician here in Accra with expertise in Fontomfrom drumming and Dance. Just to mention some of his cultural heritage and performance that he perfomed at include, the National theater of Ghana, labadi Beach hotel, La palm Royal beach, International conference center, International trade fair center, United Kingdom London museum 2005, Asakan Russia 2017, British Embassy, German Embassy, British council etc.
Koomson is currently with the Dzen Nako Cultural troupe as a master drummer, acrobat and an Atenteben player.

A senior performing artist at the Department of Dance Studies, School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana, Legon. Who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Diploma certificate in music and dance from the same university. My role as an artist is to teach and provide drum music for graduate and undergraduate traditional dance and technique classes, rehearsals, and performances. I also teach Ghanaian traditional folk songs and drumming at the School of Performing Arts. In addition to my role, I am also a musician, dancer, curator, and percussionist.
I have a wealth of experience working with several overseas institutions on heritage and cultural programs. Just to mention a few, I served as Representative for West African drumming, musical performances, and COVID-19 cross-cultural conversation on “Social Responsibilities in Crisis” for students at the University of Maryland, USA. I participated in the Global music (GLOMUS) workshop program in the East African region of Tanzania

Medjie Mathias is a Dance and musician with 5 years experience in music and drumming. Begun drumming at the age of 18 with the INDIGENAFRICA OCHESTRA group at the National theatre. Specialize in the dondo, Jembe, Conch(SEA SHELLS), xylophone, or a rhythm instrument like the string bass, drums, piano, or guitar might perform in restaurants, at parties, in nightclubs and at receptions .

Twumasi Isaac is entry level dancer with over 12 years of training in contemporary dance forms including African traditional dance. Quick learner with experience breaking down and teaching African dances to others. Strong performer who feels comfortable in front of any audience.

Asante Ntori is a highly motivated and skilled drummer and percussionist with a comprehensive background in both live and recorded performance. Along with being an amiable and charismatic person, An extremely versatile and dedicated musician. I have over 10 years of involvement in various bands and ensembles as well as an extensive background in teaching.
